Minister of Natural Resources Raphael Trotman outlined Guyana’s plans to create an institute to support the nascent oil industry in the country. His vision includes a facility for fabrication, a scientific institute, and modern regulations. Trotman also pointed to Guyana’s efforts to adopt EITI industry standards to ensure transparency in the sector.
